      • Loose pet hair will be removed.

      • Reasonably maintained vehicles only; Vehicles requiring significant debris removal, smoke/ash smell and damage, mold, major stains, etc. will require either a comprehensive/obsessive detail or an estimate for services.

• Exterior + wheels thoroughly pressure and hand washed as appropriate for the vehicle

• Includes premium SiO2/siloxane synthetic exterior sealant (This is a spray sealant, not a "ceramic coating")

  • Machine applied wax +$75 (Select classic vehicles with single stage paint, contamination must be negligible)

    • Replacement of missing or broken plastic panel fasteners (when in-stock)

    • Greasing of latches and hinges post-cleaning

    • Application of client-supplied touch up paint pen/pots for limited small chips

    • Owners of select classic vehicles with non-metallic single stage paint may opt for a machine applied wax for a more natural, traditional glow with less protection than modern sealants, at no added cost.

An OE or premium aftermarket filter is included. Additional quarts of oil available at added cost. $40 deposit required for appointments.

  • Applies to *most* vehicles. Vehicles with special procedures such as dry sump systems, and some modern european vehicles that require dealer computer access may require a specialist. We will refer you to a trusted shop that can perform specialized services.

• Brake services - $150 (2hrs) labor per axle for pad+rotor replacement, plus the cost of parts

  • Most vehicles. Vehicles with specialty/performance multi-piston calipers, or requiring dealer computer intervention for caliper retraction or teach-in may referred to trusted shops equipped for this work.

  • If replacement components are needed, an estimate for additional parts and labor will be provided. Vehicles with failed or incomplete brake systems must be towed to and from our shop at vehicle owner's expense if repairs are being completed elsewhere.

  • Significantly rusty, corroded, seized, or neglected brake systems may incur additional labor cost for removal and clean up.

• Cabin and Engine Air Filter Replacement - Labor included at no extra cost for most vehicles with other maintenance or detailing services.

  • Some vehicles with excessively complicated access to filters may incur a labor charge at a rate of $75/hr with a minimum half-hour. (I'm looking at you Ford Focus, with your cabin air filter requiring removal of the body control module for the official replacement procedure)

  • Minimum half-hour of labor for cabin or engine air filter replacement as a standalone service.

• Transmission, differential fluid/oil changes will require an estimate. Automatic and CVT transmissions requiring specialized flush equipment will be referred to shops equipped for these specialties.

• Appointment required for all maintenance services. A deposit equal to the cost of parts and supplies will be required to book any maintenance appointment. We apologize for this inconvenience. As a small shop, we cannot stock filters and fluid types, or parts for any vehicle, and they are specialty ordered for every job. This enables us to offer premium parts with our services at competitive prices.

• Customer supplied parts will only be accepted in situations where parts are rare or otherwise difficult to obtain.

• Includes 50 miles of round-trip travel from our shop location in Providence. Additional mileage at IRS rate of $0.67/mile. Extended travel may incur additional expense, discussed up-front.

• A detailed inspection of safety, maintenance, mechanical, and functional items, as well as aesthetics of the vehicle will be performed

• Vehicles will be test driven when permitted and able unless requested otherwise

• VIN will be checked for open recalls

• OBDII scanning of trouble codes and mileage since last clearing checked

• Experian Autocheck report available at cost - $25

• A thorough report will be provided via email, complete with photos and descriptions of any issues, and comments about the vehicles condition

• Must have contact details and permission of seller or selling dealer

• Cost of inspection may be applied to a comprehensive detailing service if you purchase the inspected vehicle - discounted detailing for your new purchase!

• Purchaser recommended to NOT be present for inspection. This allows us to remain impartial, and help you get the most accurate information, and best possible pricing for a vehicle without personal or emotional attachment to a significant purchase.

• All custom services will be quoted on a time and materials basis, at a shop rate of $75/hr

• Concours services can include on-site turnover and maintenance throughout an event. Out of state event travel and accomodations will be billed at-cost. Event access to be provided by vehicle owner.

• Ideal Grain can perform remediation of mold, critter damage, dirt and debris.

• Heavy mold, bio, and hazmat items may require replacement of carpet, fabric, and foam. Ideal Grain will make the vehicle safer for restoration work, and provide advice on long-term remediation. Removal of carpet/upholstery can be performed.

• Flatbed trailer transport available at added time and mileage cost

Vehicle & parts storage is available for low monthly fees year round in our facility through Historic Motor Cars!

• Off-peak storage available May through October - starting at $100/month

• Peak/winter storage available November through April - starting at $150/month

• Indoor Wheel + Tire Storage $15/month or $150 paid-in-full yearly (wheels/tires may be stored in your stored vehicle at no added cost)

• Outlets for battery tenders available for all storage customers

• No additional pick ups and drop offs included with basic storage. Additional pick-up+drop-off while stored: $75 - Storage fees will not be paused.

• Premium storage services available for an additional $75/month
